# Company Categories

### Create new company categories

To create new Categories, please navigate to **Companies -> Categories** in the left sidebar. Now you can start adding specific information about the Company Categories Item in the fields data section below:

**Name:** Enter the name of the company categories.

**Slug:** The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens.

**Parent Company Categories:** select parent amenities if needed. Usually, you don’t need to do it.

**Description**: Enter a description for categories if available

After completing all the necessary fields, click on the "**Add New Company Categories**" button.
