How to Enable/Disable City/state option in Jobs/company

If you want to Enable/Disable City/State in your job and company, please follow these steps:

  1. From the admin dashboard go to Theme Options -> Location Option

  • In this option, you need to select the country that you want to add and show the city/state in the jobs

2. Next, go to Civi Jobs/Civi Employers -> Province / State -> Add New State -> Click the button " Add New State" to save

  • Name: Enter the state name

  • Slug: The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens.

  • Parent State: Assign a parent term to create a hierarchy.

  • Description: Enter the state's description

  • Country: Select the state's country

  1. After you created the State, next please select City/Town to add a new City/Town for your job

  • Name: Enter the city/town name.

  • Slug: The “slug” is the URL-friendly version of the name. It is usually all lowercase and contains only letters, numbers, and hyphens.

  • Parent City: Assign a parent term to create a hierarchy.

  • Description: Enter the city/town description.

  • Province / State: Select the related Province / State with the city/town

Note: In the job/company, you need to select the city related with the job, it will show in the filter of the job archive page.

Here, this is the result of the location option after you added and selected it with the related job, it would be displayed in the filter
