# Create a new item
In the WordPress admin bar, navigate to the Footer section and click 'Add New'.
Enter a new title, select 'Elementor Canvas' from the Template dropdown list, click 'Publish', and then click 'Edit with Elementor' to begin editing.
Create a template based on your preferences and publish it.
